Ask Cara

What products can ZestDose manufacture?+

We supply nicotine pouches, nicotine-free caffeine and functional pouches, and oral dissolving films. Choose an existing formulation or discuss a custom brief for your brand. Ingredients, dose, flavor and packaging are agreed for each project.

What is your minimum order quantity?+

The standard caffeine pouch program starts at 1,500 cans per flavor. Custom ODF orders start at 60,000 strips. Other pouch formulas and packaging options have their own order requirements, which we confirm in your quotation.

How do we request samples?+

Standard caffeine samples cost US$10 per box of five pouches, with 50 mg or 100 mg caffeine options. Shipping is additional. Functional pouch and ODF samples are arranged against your project brief. Standard caffeine sample fees are credited against the first commercial order; the ODF sampling fee is refunded at the bulk production stage.

Ingredients and amounts are confirmed for your sample brief.

Your samples

Choose a flavor or describe your own in the notes.

We will confirm your sample specification and quotation. No payment is taken here.

Custom Pouches

Develop caffeine, guarana, focus, calm, oral care and nutritional pouches under your own brand. Agree the active ingredients, amount per pouch, flavor, pouch format and finished packaging in your project brief.

Starting points for your project

Reference sample preparation is 4 to 6 working days. First commercial production is typically 7 to 12 working days after required specifications and approvals. Development, revisions and transit may add time.

Custom ODF

Thin oral dissolving films are individually packed in foil sachets. Develop a caffeine film, a melatonin film or a custom formula for your intended market.

USD references use RMB 6.6621 per US$1, dated October 29, 2026. Confirm the final fees, refund terms and production schedule in your quotation.

Formula and labeling requirements are reviewed for the destination market. An example botanical film contains saffron extract 10 mg, L-theanine 50 mg and ashwagandha extract 40 mg per strip. This example does not contain melatonin.

Stock Formulations

Start with an existing formulation and discuss your label, flavor and packaging requirements. Available programme categories include caffeine, guarana, nootropic, oral care, nutritional and stress relief pouches.

Orange Mango, Grape and Kiwi Passionfruit are starting flavor directions. Availability and formula compatibility are confirmed for each project. An existing formula does not mean every finished SKU is held in stock.

Flavor Library

Choose a familiar profile or discuss a custom combination. Mint, berry, citrus, tropical fruit and coffee profiles provide different starting points for a product brief.

Completed sample cases

These sample cases use 0.8 g per pouch. Formula, dosage, pack count and market suitability are confirmed separately.

Functional Solutions

Discuss a product brief for sleep support, energy and focus, immune support or weight management. Choose the pouch or film format, target market and proposed ingredients before sample development.

Ingredient suitability, amounts and permitted label claims depend on your destination. Product availability does not establish permission to sell or make the same claims in every country.

Documents for your supplier review

Ask for the product specification, formula reference, approved sample revision, packaging specification, relevant batch records and documents required by your importer.

Facility registration, manufacturing practice documentation and laboratory accreditation cover different activities. Ask which facility, product category and scope each document applies to. Food facility registration is not FDA product approval.

Document copies and scope information are available for procurement review. Contact Cara with your product category and destination.

OEM Order Terms

Each quotation defines the formula, flavor, pack count, minimum order, price, artwork scope, payment schedule and delivery terms for the specific project.

Approve the formula, physical sample and packaging artwork before production. Confirm any design, sampling and printing plate charges and the sample fee credit or refund mechanism in writing.

Reference lead times start after the required information and approvals are complete. Development, revisions and transport can add time. Your accepted quotation and order confirmation govern the transaction.

Payment Arrangements

Commercial orders and sample requests are confirmed by quotation or invoice. Payment method, currency, deposit and balance terms are agreed for each order.

This homepage does not take online payment or place a paid sample order. Contact Cara to confirm your quotation and payment instructions before paying.

Shipping and Delivery

Provide your destination country, delivery address and preferred shipment method when requesting a quotation. Freight, duties, taxes and import requirements depend on the order and destination.

Production lead times do not include transit. Confirm the agreed Incoterm, shipping documents, dispatch date and estimated transport time in your order confirmation.

ORDER PLANNING

Planning your first pouch order

What to put in your brief and how to separate MOQ, sample costs and production timing.

Start with the product and destination

A useful enquiry identifies the product category, destination country, expected order quantity and launch priorities. A nicotine pouch, a caffeine pouch and an oral film do not share one universal set of specifications. If your formulation is not settled, describe the product direction and the decisions you need help with.

Separate a reference MOQ from your final order

The standard caffeine pouch programme starts at 1,500 cans per flavor. Custom ODF starts at 60,000 strips. These figures belong to different programmes. Other pouch formulas, packaging formats and combinations are quoted separately. Ask whether the minimum applies to each formula, flavor, label or packaging version.

Choose the right sample route

Standard caffeine samples cost US$10 per box of five pouches, with 50 mg or 100 mg caffeine options. Shipping is separate. Functional pouch and ODF development use a project-specific sample brief. Do not assume the standard caffeine sample fee covers custom formulation work.

Ask which fees are included

Pouch design is free. ODF design, sampling and printing plates have separate charges. For the supplied ODF programme, the bulk quotation includes foil packaging and boxes and excludes printing plates. The ODF sampling fee is refunded at the bulk production stage. Confirm the mechanism in your written quote.

Agree the starting point for timing

Reference sample preparation is 4 to 6 working days. Reference first commercial production is 7 to 12 working days after required specifications and approvals. Formula development, sample revisions, pilot work and transport can add time. A calendar launch date should allow for these stages rather than treating production time as the complete project duration.

Send a brief your team can approve

Include the target amount per pouch or film, preferred flavors, pack count, artwork status and delivery destination. State which details are fixed and which are open for discussion. Cara can then help identify the next step and the information still needed for a quotation.

Buyer Guides

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Choosing a formula, flavor and pack

Make ingredient amounts, sample revisions and packaging decisions clear before production.

Keep ingredient amounts separate from fill weight

A pouch weighing 0.8 g does not contain 0.8 g of an active ingredient. Record the total fill weight and each ingredient amount in separate fields. When using an extract, distinguish the mass of the extract from the amount of any active constituent it contributes. Do not treat a guarana extract amount as an equivalent caffeine amount.

Name the product format

Specify whether the brief concerns a pouch or an oral dissolving film. For pouches, discuss fill weight, dimensions, moisture and the approved sensory reference. For ODF, discuss film dimensions, flexibility, dissolution characteristics and the individual sachet. The film and the outer foil package are different components.

Use flavor cases as a starting point

Completed 0.8 g pouch sampling cases include Camphor Vanilla, Hawthorn Bayberry, White Peach Chrysanthemum, Cucumber Mint, Lotus Grapefruit and Strawberry Vanilla Tea. These names describe customer sampling projects. They do not establish the active ingredients or dose in a new formula, and they do not mean every formulation is available in every flavor.

Agree what belongs in each pack

Confirm pouches per can or strips per box, the artwork version and any outer packaging. The ODF programme supports 20 or 30 strips per box and custom pack counts. A pack count seen in one customer photograph should not become the default specification for every project.

Approve a defined sample revision

Keep the formula reference, sample revision, sensory notes and packaging decisions together. If the recipe or format changes after tasting, identify which version the team approves. That approved reference should carry into the production discussion and any later reorder.

Bring the market into the brief early

Share the destination and channel before finalising the formula or artwork. Ingredient choices, dose, product positioning and required documentation need to be reviewed for that project. A completed case or a supplier capability statement is not a blanket permission to sell the same specification in every country.

SUPPLIER REVIEW

What belongs in your supplier document pack?

A practical checklist for specifications, production references and documents relevant to your order.

Begin with the exact product

Identify the formula, format, sample revision and packaging specification you are reviewing. A document pack should make it clear which product and production arrangement it supports. A general company presentation cannot replace an agreed product specification.

Ask for ingredient and formula references

Request the ingredient names, agreed amounts, relevant raw-material specifications and the references used for your formula. Keep supplier records and batch references connected where applicable. For an extract-based formula, ask how the extract specification relates to any declared active amount.

Connect the approved sample to production

Record the sample revision the customer approved and the final artwork version. Ask which checks cover the formula, fill weight, pouch or film format, packing and batch identification. Agree the records your team will receive for the order rather than assuming every document is supplied automatically.

Identify the type and scope of each credential

Review the named holder, site, validity information, issuing organisation and stated scope in the original document. A laboratory accreditation document, facility registration record and manufacturing-system document describe different things. Check the scope relevant to the actual order instead of relying on a collection of logos.

Prepare the questions before you pay a deposit

Ask which documents are available before the order, which are linked to a production batch and which may require additional testing or work. Clarify any cost, timing and confidentiality arrangements in the quotation. Product and destination requirements should be reviewed for the specific project.

Keep the handover usable for a reorder

Store the approved specification, artwork, formula or internal reference, sample revision and agreed production documents together. A clear handover helps both teams discuss a repeat order using the same reference. Any later changes should be recorded before the next batch is produced.
